Very Bad News

Mrs. Dragon is in hospital, in the ICU and it doesn’t look like she is going to make it. My poor Mary is being taken away to be with her Heavenly Father and her mom and dad. Please pray for those of us still here and dealing with this right now as I know all of you, my on line friends and family will.

  22. I am so sorry to hear this.

I have been where you are, counting on doctors to turn around a bleak situation. Praying for a miracle. In some cases when there was virtually no hope, saying “Father, if she can’t be made well,…then let her go in peace. She is in pain, suffering.”

My mother died of ovarian cancer when she was 51. I was 21. My sister died at age 52 of breast cancer. I have no other siblings.

At one time, after praying with at LEAST a mustard seed’s believing, I said, “Well, God…if you won’t help me when I need ya…then I don’t need ya”…and I tried to be an Unbeliever for 2-3 years.

It was a dark time, and I was a horrible person. Long story.

But my now-wife and some others helped me across the bridge. And it was good to be home.

How? They taught me III John 2–that God wants ys to be healthy. That God is love and in him is no darkness at all.

Jesus said “I am come that thou mayest have Life and more than abundantly.”…and that “The thief (Satan) cometh for no other reason but for to kill and to steal and destroy.”

I was blaming the wrong person!

So….I Thessalonians 4:13-18 has been a big comfort. As has the passing of time.

May God help you be more at peace, in time…. Because, I know…the pain never goes away completely.
