Good Morning Campers,
Happy Thanksgiving! I know this is a busy week for all of you, but I just wanted to take a few minutes out to tell you how thankful I am for all of you and for all that you do for me. You know, it’s not just me providing you laffs and funnies to get you all through the week. It is you providing me a release and a way to keep that itch, in a very minor way, scratched, until I can spend some real time writing again.
Maybe I’ll get back to it in retirement, maybe I won’t. At this point in time, I’m not really sure. Things over the last couple of years haven’t really gone anywhere near like I thought they would. But, it is what it is.
Anyway, thank you for following me as long as you have, some of you for many, many years. And here’s to many, many more to come.
Now, let’s throw some Thanksgiving laffs your way!!!!
If you were wondering about my culinary skills…I’ve been asked to bring paper towels and napkins to our family gatherings.
And that my dear friends, is the Thanksgiving issue. I hope you all have a wonderful day and a wonderful weekend. I will see you all next week.
My love to you all.
Cheers,
Impish Dragon
You are really something, putting out an issue on Thanksgiving! Thanks for the laughs.
We woke to 9 inches of snow. Husband decides it’s time to use his four wheeler with plow to clear the area. But since he had accidents that meant we never got to go anywhere this past summer, it wouldn’t run worth a darn, because of gas gunk in the carburetor.
We were to take a table, and 7 padded folding chairs to dinner at my daughter’s. Her husband was supposed to come over and help carry them out and load then on the truck. He couldn’t get out of his drive with his Mustang with racing wheels . . .
Husband was going to drive over and pick him up. The truck wouldn’t start, the battery was dead.
Finally, the snow stopped, he got the driveway cleared, and we were able to haul them in our car.
Dinner was great, which made up for all the frustration.
Still sounds like a lovely thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too!!! Hope are will be with family and friends today.
